William Imboden Sworn In As Hercules Police Chief
Imboden began his law enforcement career in Hercules, and left for the North Bay until he was selected for this position.
HERCULES, CA — Hercules Police Chief William Imboden was officially sworn in last week.
Imboden started his law enforcement career with the City of Hercules in 1994 as a Patrol officer. In 2007 he went to the St. Helena Police Department as a Sergeant. While at St. Helena he was promoted to Lieutenant and then Chief in 2015.
In September 2018 Chief Imboden was selected, after a nationwide search, to fill the position of retired Chief William Goswick.
