After last year commissioning The Bachelorette Canada, W Network is adding more love to its lineup.

The Corus Entertainment-owned channel has greenlit The Bachelor Canada, which follows a singleton as he attempts to choose one woman to spend his life with, from a pool of 20 vying for his affection.

From Vancouver’s Good Human Productions, the series will begin production in the spring of 2017 and is set to air in the fall. Casting for the series begins Dec. 1.

The Bachelor Canada first aired on City in 2012 and its second season aired on the Rogers-owned channel in 2014.

The Bachelor Canada is based on the U.S. format — which is heading into its 21st season — created by Mike Fleiss and produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.
