Wendy Williams Spends Birthday Giving Back With Gala And Campaign

The daytime talk show host celebrated her big day by unveiling her 'Be Here' campaign to support those battling drug addiction. See pics!

Wendy Williams celebrated her birthday last night at Manhattan's iconic Hammerstein Ballroom by unveiling her new 'Be Here' campaign, which will help combat drug addiction.

The evening was hosted by TV personality and actress Torrei Hart, and featured performances by Johnny Gill and Keri Hilson, with a special honoring of the late Natalie Cole.

Daniela's Lens was there to celebrate with Wendy and document the evening exclusively for Patch.

There are two good reasons to be excited: It's Wendy's birthday, and she is unveiling the new campaign 'Be Here' started by the Hunter Foundation to fight drug addiction. The goal is to raise $10 Million over five years. The money will go to a Youth Leader Program with mentorship and counseling programs and to a clinical research study to get insights on the effects of K2 (synthetic marijuana).
