Buffalo Bills vs. San Diego Chargers injury report: Robert Woods probable for Week 3

Orchard Park, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills appear to have dodged a bullet with Robert Woods' injury.

The second-year wide receiver injured his ankle at practice on Wednesday and missed practice on Thursday but was listed as probable on the injury report on Friday after returning to practice. Woods thinks he'll be able to suit up when the Bills take on the Chargers on Sunday.

"I believe so," Woods said. "I feel pretty good. I've had an ankle injury before. This is a slight one."

Woods underwent ankle surgery this offseason and dealt with an ankle injury at USC. This injury is to the same ankle he had surgery on. Woods said he just slipped during practice and tried to push through it before deciding rest was the best way to go. After the initial scare, Woods realized the injury wasn't a major one.

Meanwhile, the Bills listed linebacker Keith Rivers as doubtful with a groin injury. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday but missed practice on Friday. Here's the full injury report for Week 3.
