Her 'Lil Romeo!' Miranda Kerr hugs Flynn close as she runs errands in petal-print maxi dress

Miranda Kerr's husband Orlando Bloom makes his Broadway debut on Thursday in Romeo And Juliet.

And the 30-year-old supermodel had her own little hero to keep her company on Wednesday as she took to the streets of New York City to take care of personal business.

Miranda was beaming as she cradled her equally happy-go-lucky toddler, who made even a casual day of errands a fun adventure.

She managed to look runway chic as well in blue T-strap sandals and a long black dress patterned with pink flowers.

Whenever she took a long stride, the wrap-around dress parted to reveal a mauve lining underneath, not to mention Miranda's slender, toned limbs, and there was also a large blue bag on her arm that caught attention.

Miranda's son was too cute in a red baseball cap emblazoned with the words 'Lil Romeo' across the front - a moniker that could have referred to rapper Romeo Miller but could have been a nod to Orlando's new role.

The rest of smiling Flynn's ensemble included cuffed dark jeans, a striped hoodie and navy loafers.

The brown-eyed boy, who is the spitting image of his actor father, seemed to get a case of the giggles at one point, causing his mother to break into laughter as well.

The Australian catwalker was noticeably absent from this year's line-up for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which does include Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes and Behati Prinsloo.

Miranda became the first Australian Victoria's Secret angel six years ago, and has been a staple of the annual lingerie showcase every year except in 2010 while she was pregnant with Flynn.

The stunning beauty doesn't seem too fazed as she has other things no doubt to keep her cheerful, namely the positive buzz Orlando is generating in Shakespeare's play about star-crossed lovers.

Romeo And Juliet, which also stars Condola Rashad, is currently in previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

The general public will get a chance to see the Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 36, flex his amazingly toned physique on stage starting Thursday.

'It’s terrifying,' Orlando told New York Daily News of acting on stage. 'Are there nervous butterflies? Oh yeah, for sure. But I love the rush,' adding that it's all about 'getting back to the basics.'
