BLACKSTONE, Va (WRIC) — One day after a shooting in Blackstone, police say a suspect is now in custody, sources tell 8News.
Nottoway Sheriff’s Office was looking for a shooting suspect after a 21-year-old man was shot in the back on Taylor Street around 1 p.m. Saturday.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police had identified the suspect and were searching for their whereabouts.
Sources also say this is the first shooting in Blackstone this year.
