'Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods' is about Goku's struggles against the God of Destruction, Beerus. After hearing that Frieza was defeated by Goku, the God decides to test the hero's strength with the world and the universe at stake. It would take more than a Super Saiyan to fight the God and the only way Goku will stand toe-to-toe with Beerus is to become a God himself.
