Arson Detectives To Probe Houston Warehouse Fire: Report
Firefighters were sent Sunday to a warehouse in Northeast Houston near Wallisville Road and Wayside Drive. Arson detectives will probe.
NORTHEAST HOUSTON, TX β Firefighters were sent to a warehouse that burst into flames Sunday in Northeast Houston and arson detectives will investigate the cause of the blaze. The warehouse caught fire near Wallisville Road and Wayside Drive, KTRK-TV reported. Officials told the station they were concerned about possible hazardous materials, but the area was later considered safe.
The cause of the blaze remains unknown. Area roads were reportedly closed.
Firefighters had to battle the blaze outside the building due to weather conditions, KIAH-TV reported. Heavy flames and smoke billowed out of two connected buildings, the station said.
