Carman Licciardello Cancer Update: Singer Shares Chemo 'Nightmare' Story on Facebook that was 'Too Hard to Relive'

Christian singer Carman Licciardello took to Facebook last night to share about his "Nightmare of Chemo" when he was battling cancer last year.

The singer said up until this point he had a difficult time sharing his experiences about his treatments. The whole ordeal was too painful for him and too "hard to relive."

"I remember the chemo messing with my stomach so bad that I couldn't eat anything for months and enjoy it," he shared. "It created a bubbling sensation in my abdomen that just about drove me crazy. Any food I would eat or drink would be like dropping an alka-seltzer into a glass of water. It would bubble up and make me sick. Anything would make me feel like I wanted to throw up. And my mouth would fill with saliva so much, I always had to spit in a bottle but nothing would come up."

He revealed that sensation was an ongoing all day thing. The singer said it felt like he was "using chewing tobacco."

Carman's experience made him vow to help others with cancer once his battle was over, and that is something he has put in motion already with a new product.

"Many of you have seen me promoting a new product called Zeal. The reason I have landed on this product is because I have gone through so much agony due to my walk through the valley of cancer, that I needed to do something to help those, maybe in my age range, who are suffering from health issues and need to get a jumpstart on a healthy lifestyle."

Carman went on to explain that when a Christian's life is cut short, that means their ministry is being cut short as well. In turn, that would mean less people get to hear about Jesus.

"We need to be healthy. What I went through fighting a deadly disease has motivated me to do something to help others get their health back," wrote Carman. "The foods we eat are lacking the vitamins and nutrients that they once held 50 years ago. Zeal is one way to get those vitamins back into your system. It works for me and I believe it can work for you."

Carman shared testimonies from various people that claim Zeal is doing wonders for their health and body. See the entire post for some of these stories.

"This is a Christian company that's growing fast and run by born again believers," he posted. "Starting in one week I'm finally ready to go on a muscle building program to get my strength back. I'll be sharing my progress once a week and the workout details if you want to join me. It takes a couple years to get all the way past chemotherapy."

He continued, "I have a 40 city tour coming up in February and I can't do it if I'm not strong and healthy. God has many good years for you to be blessed and love your family but you "have to be here" to enjoy them."
