Hansel and Gretel Opens at Music Mountain Theatre

Second Season of Children's Theatre at MMT kicks off with Hansel and Gretel

Take a “sweet” journey to Music Mountain Theatre with Hansel and Gretel! Based on the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale, a brother and sister take a trip through the woods of Germany. Complete with gingerbread men and a musical singing bird, this new twist on the classic story will delight audiences of all ages.

MMT veteran Skyler Carter stars as Hansel. Carter, age 11, is in 6th grade at New Hope-Solebury. His favorite role at MMT was Winthrop Paroo in The Music Man. Starring alongside Carter is newcomer Stevie Sanderson Bowden as Gretel. Sanderson Bowden, age 12, recently played the title role in Annie, Jr. She is 12 years old and is in 7th grade at The Pennington School.

Carter is excited for the audience to experience a special surprise vocal treat in the opening of the show; Sanderson Bowden is delighted for children and families to enjoy the great moral message the show delivers – the importance of family and finding the good in bad situations.
