“Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyo” TV Broadcast to Begin This July! Additional Cast Announced!

Broadcast details for the TV anime Inu to Hasami was Tsukaiyo have been decided. This July, the anime will begin airing on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and other networks. Also, new cast information has been announced. The cast and popular voice stars have been assemble as high-quality members to take on the challenge of this anime adaptation.

Also, four additional cast members have been announced. Inukai Kiyoshi, the pet shop owner with an afro who cares for the main character brought back to life as a Daschund, is being voiced by Wataru Hatano. The anime heroine often visits a bookstore, and Honda Sakura, the eldest daughter of the store owner, is being voiced by Maaya Uchida. Honda Yayoi, Honda’s younger sister, is being voiced by Hiromi Igarashi. Also, Moribe Sachi, a dangerous maid who will kill anyone who sees her enjoying her hobby of singing and dancing while holding a broom in one hand is being voiced by Chiwa Saito. How will these multi-faceted characters be played by this cast?

It has already been confirmed that Takahiro Sakurai will be voicing Harumi Kazuhito and Marina Inoue will be voicing heroine Natsuno Kirihime. Additional cast already confirmed includes Mina Asuka, Shizuka Itou, Ai Kakuma, and Yu Serizawa.

Furthermore, two promotional videos and key visuals are viewable on the anime’s official site. The videos show the characters and confirm who is playing each role.

The original work, a light novel series with the same name, received the award of excellence at the “12th Enterbrain Entertainment Awards,” and was the debut work of the writing team Sarai Shunsuke, which is composed of authors Sara and I. The series has a cummulative total of over 300,000 copies printed. Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, the work’s illustrator, has shared his style in various light-novels.

On June 29, the light novel’s seventh volume will release. A special edition that includes a drama CD by the anime’s cast will also be simultaneously released.
