This box labeled "incinerated remains of Sharon McQueen" was found outside The Working Class Tattoo on East Fourth Street in Reno. The staff is looking for its owner.

Someone left a box labeled cremated human remains outside a Reno tattoo shop.

The staff found it Sunday at The Working Class Tattoo, said Audrey Richards, who works at the shop. It’s labeled “incinerated remains of Sharon McQueen.”

The label says McQueen died in 2007 at 64, and lists Masonic Memorial Gardens as the crematory.

They called the crematory, which told them the remains had once been shipped to Final Wishes Funeral Home in Reno, which is no longer in business.

Working Class Tattoo posted photos of the box on Facebook with the messages “Can we pass this around, see if we can find any family members?” and “We’d like to find her rightful home!”

Richards has been doing some research. She said in an email that it's possible the person's maiden name was Sharon Sue Morrison, born in Indianapolis and died in Washoe County. Her married names may have been Guest and McQueen.

Richards said the box might belong to someone living homeless in the area.

Anyone with information about the box can call The Working Class Tattoo at (775) 657-8945 or reply to their Facebook post at facebook.com/Theworkingclasstattoo.
