Northrop Grumman Names New Regional Vice President for Southeast Asia


DALLAS, Dec. 20, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Integrated Systems sector today announced the appointment of Scott Douglas as regional vice president, Southeast Asia.

Based in Singapore, Mr. Douglas directs Integrated Systems' regional business development and customer service activities for Southeast Asia. In this role, he is responsible for customer support and for developing new business opportunities for the sector's products. Mr. Douglas succeeds Phil Murphy, who recently retired.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Mr. Douglas was senior regional analyst for Southeast Asia with Cubic Applications. He retired from 30 years of service in the United States Navy with the rank of captain. A career Naval aviator, Mr. Douglas' last assignment was as the defense attache in Singapore.

Mr. Douglas earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master's degree in aeronautical engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif.
