During the Tidal X: 1015 charity concert on Oct. 15, Nicki Minaj met with her idol Lauryn Hill backstage and literally bowed at Hill’s feet, something that rapper Foxy Brown took notice of.

Brown took to Instagram on Monday to repost the video with a caption that some believe was throwing shade at Lil Kim. “I laugh when they say [Nicki Minaj] never gives it up to the greats cuz (sic) she’s humbly bowed to both [Lauryn Hill] and [me] publicly,” she wrote.

While Brown didn’t mention Lil Kim’s name, the two have been feuding for years. “Maybe y’all mad b-----s just aren’t who she considers the bar,” Brown’s caption continued.

Once friends, Lil Kim and Foxy Brown’s beef dates back more than 15 years when Lil Kim dissed Brown on the 1999 song “Play Around.” Kim also dissed Brown on her album “The Notorious K.I.M.” which led to a response from Foxy Brown on the Capone-N-Noreaga song, “Bang Bang.”

Nicki Minaj has also had her own feud with Lil Kim. In 2014, Lil Kim made her own version of Beyonce and Nicki Minaj’s “Flawless (Remix)” to diss Nicki but the feud dates back even further. In a 2012 interview, Lil Kim called Minaj “very catty” and “very obnoxious.”

“The problem with her is, she was very catty with it,” Lil Kim told Power 105’s The Breakfast Club. “I never had a problem with her. I was always nice with her. Always. She was a very obnoxious person, but I was very nice with her. From the time I saw her in that dressing room, the story she told, I don’t even know what the heck she was talking about. That’s not even how it happened.”

Lil Kim has yet to respond to Foxy Brown’s Instagram post.
