Ciance is an established Nurse Educator and Doctor of Nursing Practice currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts. Featuring over three decades of experience in nursing, she has a special expertise in nurse education.
Karin’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1983, when she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Worcester State University in Massachusetts. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master of Science Degree in Nursing within the same educational venue, before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Walden University.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Karin has gained a wealth of experience in many areas of the nursing field, allowing her to pass on her expertise and knowledge in her role as an Assistant Professor. She attributes her success to her excellent interpersonal skills and her positive attitude, and when she is not working, Karin enjoys camping and traveling.
