Four Arrested Following I-94 High-Speed Chase, Foot Chase and Search

ELK MOUND, WI — Four suspects were arrested after a high-speed chase, a foot pursuit and a search of the area.

On Wednesday, January 18 at approximately 1:05 am, Troopers from the Northwest Region Eau Claire Post attempted to stop a silver 2007 Nissan Sentra for speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone on I-94 near Elk Mound.

The subject started to slow down and began to pull onto the shoulder. The vehicle then accelerated and continued eastbound on Interstate 94.

The pursuit ended as the vehicle started to exit at the 65 off ramp on Interstate 94 and lost control. Four subjects ran from the vehicle. A search of the area was conducted and the four subjects were apprehended.
