Debby Ryan married Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun this past New Year's Eve during a secret wedding in Austin

Debby Ryan secretly tied the knot with her Twenty One Pilots drummer beau Josh Dun this past New Year's Eve in Austin, Texas.

And in an interview published to Vogue on Thursday, the 27-year-old star of Netflix's Insatiable revealed that her and Dun planned the entirety of their destination wedding in just 28 days.

'We began to flirt with the idea of having a destination party celebrating the new decade, then decided in December to get married [in Austin] on New Year's Eve, and just keep dancing until after the ball dropped,' explained Ryan.

Debby added that the loss of a close friend last summer prompted her and Dun to get their wedding planning underway. 

'It didn't feel important to wait anymore, to stop being busy, or for things to line up perfectly,' she stated.

For her big day, Ryan donned a gorgeous Elie Saab gown that featured a romantic off-the-shoulder neckline, cupcake bottom, and a lengthy train. 

'The day the collection dropped on Vogue—I saved it,' Debby admitted.

For her wedding reception, Debby traded in her dramatic Elie Saab gown for a  Are You Am I silk slip dress that allowed her to dance the night away with her husband.

The pair - who got engaged in December of 2018 - arranged a meeting with a wedding planner that Debby found on Instagram in early December of last year.

'We had a long coffee meeting, and by the end of the night, we decided we could pull it off and set everything into motion,' said Debby.

As for the ceremony, itself, Dun described it as the 'perfect balance' of fun and emotional.

'I felt like it was game night at our house, and this was the ultimate game, and boy did I win! I remember every detail from how it felt to be walking down the aisle, to the full body chills I got watching Debby walk down toward me,' explained the musician.

According to Debby, their wedding reception was a wild one that was 'still in full-swing' when the 'hotel needed their space back.' 

'Finally, everyone dispersed into their hotel rooms or walked to spots on Rainey Street, but a ragtag handful ended up in our room, where we mostly played games and exchanged gratitude,' concluded Ryan.

Shortly after their interview debuted on Vogue, Debby took to her Instagram Story to share some behind-the-scenes snapshots taken during her wedding dress fitting, location scouting with Dun, and more! 

Though Debby and Josh did not say a peep about their secret New Year's Eve nuptials until Thursday's interview, the former Disney darling did drop some hints on her Instagram on the night of her wedding.

She had shared a plethora of black-and-white photo booth portraits taken during the wedding reception. 

Dun proposed to Ryan during the pair's trip to New Zealand in December of 2018.

'I said yes! Well technically I said 'NO WAY' twice but I meant yes,' captioned Ryan on a post shared to her Instagram page at the time. 

In the series of snapshots, Dun was pictured on one knee as a visibly shocked Debby stood in awe of the impromptu gesture.
