CRESSON TWP, Pa. (WJAC) — Emergency construction on a bridge on Route 2019 has been postponed, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The construction was scheduled to begin Tuesday in Cresson Township, but J.B. Fay Construction Company of Pittsburgh -- the contractor heading the project -- delayed the start because of pending weather conditions, PennDOT officials said.
The project involves bridge fascia beam demolition and repair work where Route 2019 crosses over westbound Route 22.
Officials said once new dates can be set, information will be released.
