Reminiscing “Breaking Dawn: Part 2” & Kristen Stewart’s food for thought

It’s been at least three weeks since a flurry of controversy over shadowed Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as well as the final episode “Breaking Dawn: Part 2” of the Twilight Saga. While the scandal has rocked her personal life, her former boyfriend has managed to come up from under the controversy in heroic fashion.

After all has been said and done, it boggles the brain that Stewart would prefer a sanctuary void of her most precious symbol of success; her fans. She has canceled premiere appearances, sources say because she’s still uncomfortable with facing the barrage of questions about the cheating scandal.

So absent seeing her for a while to come then here is an excellent opportunity for you to reminisce.

And who knows, it might be fun. We can pretend that everything’s fine again between the former lovebirds as we look at brand new promo pictures from the new Twilight instalment, Breaking Dawn: Part 2.

Ever since the news broke that Kristen had been cheating on poor old R-Patz with Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, things have been quite difficult between them. Pattinson appears to have moved on, but not without managing the personal secrets they share together with respect.

As we porous through the happy moment photos, the reality of their situation may have never been more real. Pattinson moved out of their LA home and the couple appear as though they haven’t spoken since.

Pattinson of course has been keeping himself busy by braving through several slightly awkward interviews promoting his new film Cosmopolis, whereas Kristen’s kept a lowprofile, even choosing to skip a promotional event for her latest film, a film adaptation of Jacques Kerouac’s cult classic On The Road, in London yesterday. Though it’s been confirmed by People.com she will attend the Toronto Film Festival at the beginning of September. It’s perhaps now sinking in.

In one of the pictures Kristen aka Bella is seen staring meaningfully into the distance with her deep red, vampire… eyes.

In another of the pictures, the Cullen family are seen lining up, looking like their ready to kick some serious Volturi rump.

The shots give insight, just in case you’ve forgotten, into the plot of the film, which involves Bella and Edward’s – played by Rob – battle with the Volturi vampire clan over the fate of their fast-growing daughter Renesmee, played by Makenzie Foy.

Despite the recent scandal, experts aren’t expecting it to have any impact on box office results.

“While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: “Breaking Dawn: Part 2,” Nancy Kirkpatrick, the studio’s president of worldwide marketing, told Entertainment Weekly.

Pattinson’s brief trip to New York is finally a rapp. The “Twilight” heartthrob  completed the promotional stops for his new film, “Cosmopolis.” Making appearances at the premiere, the New York Stock Exchange, and “Good Morning America” while nursing the scandal of his former “Twilight” girlfriend must have been a little much but he survived.

On Monday, he hit the “Cosmopolis” after-party at the Dream Downtown, and on late Tuesday a glassy-eyed Pattinson walked out of Soho House.

On Wednesday morning, he told “GMA’s” George Stephanopoulos, “I’ve never been interested in trying to sell my personal life.” On Wednesday evening, Pattinson and director David Cronenberg talked with New York Times columnist David Carr. “America really wants to have a royal family,” Pattinson said. “So if you and Kristen have trouble, it’s like Charles and Di having problems?” Carr asked. “Let’s not say that,” Pattinson said. A source told us the star was departing from Newark airport Wednesday night.

All in all, fans everywhere should be quite proud of how Pattinson has carried himself through four public appearances. Not only has he behaving like the gentlemen we all believed him to be, he’s been respectful of both Stewart’s privacy and his own.

For those of you that are hoping for a Pattinson/Stewart reconciliation, don’t put any money on it. The situation is quite complex. While it is clear that Stewart will do anything to resolve their shattered romance, Pattinson is perhaps under extreme pressure from his family and friends to move on to the next chapter in his life. Now Magazine, a web publication in the UK reported that, “Rob’s parents Richard and Clare and his sisters Lizzy and Victoria are trying to convince R-Pattz, 26, it’s not a great idea. ‘They’re worried she may win him over and have told him he mustn’t meet her.”

That’s a lot of pressure when your family is touched by scandal caused by someone outside the family tree. So you see, it’s very difficult for Pattinson, as he has to fears not only what his family might think of him if he were to resume his relationship with Stewart, but how will it affect their relationships with their friends and acquaintances.

Pattinson resolutely committed to continue his career and not return to the past, his scheduled Sept. appearance at MTV’s Video Music Awards will take place as planned.

Stewart will probably remain in hiding until next month (September) – when she’s set to appear at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Just some food for thought; reportedly Stewart’s friends have urged her to follow Pattinson’s lead and do a few interviews for “On The Road” just to get the initial shock over with. After all, the sooner she faces the music the quicker it will all end and the glare of the media spotlight will shine on someone else’s misfortune. Just look at Pattinson, the medicine does work..
