Iowa woman killed while walking on interstate early Tuesday morning

A Cedar Rapids woman was killed while walking on Interstate 380, the Iowa State Patrol reported. 

Police say Angelica Soto, 21, of Cedar Rapids, was walking on I-380 and walked into traffic at 5 a.m. Tuesday. She was hit by the driver of a 2007 Saturn Ion near mile marker 52 in Buchanan County, according to the state patrol's online crash log.

The crash log said Soto died from the collision. 

A dispatcher with the state patrol said no further information was available late Tuesday.
