Free dental care available for Coast residents

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Families in Biloxi and surrounding areas will be able to receive dental treatments at no cost Sunday.

Sharing Smiles Day is an annual day of free dental care hosted by Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces.

Dentists will provide free dental care to uninsured and underinsured adults and children from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces in Biloxi.

“At Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces, we believe every family should have a dentist,” said Dr. David Moore, DMD. “While we’re proud to accept a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicaid and TRICARE, we also know there are adults and children in our community who do not have dental insurance and who can’t afford to pay out of pocket for needed dental treatments.

Available treatments will include dental exams, limited emergency care, extractions and restorative care which can be completed on the day of the event.

Pre-registration is required for adults, and strongly encouraged for children. For more information, call 228-226-1412.
