CAMBRIDGE — TomCat Solutions, a nonprofit organization that sterilizes free-roaming cats in the Mid-Shore area, currently is seeking homes for two cats remaining from a group found abandoned.
The family of 10 cats and kittens was left in Cambridge when their owner was evicted. A neighbor who saw the animals in a dog crate outside their vacated house was the one who contacted TomCat Solutions for assistance.
TomCats has been able to place the mother cat and four of the kittens, and two more were placed with the help of local rescue groups. Still in need of a home are a 10-month-old male and a 1-year-old male.
As the organization has limited foster capacity, the cats may have to be returned to the vacant house or the neighbor. TomCats is appealing for help with adoptions, cat food and litter.
To see pictures of the cats, visit the TomCat Solutions Facebook page or call 410-822-1496 for information.
