2 men arrested in St. Hilaire assault

Two people are in jail, but the Pennington County Sheriff's Office is expecting more arrests in connection with the assault of two people in St. Hilaire, MN.
Authorities were called Monday morning on a report of two people being assaulted at a home in St. Hilaire. The caller told dispatchers that one of the victims was laying in the yard and was bleeding.
Guadalupe Peralta, 27, of Thief River Falls and James Shaugabay, 26, St. Hilaire were arrested as a result of a search warrants at a home in rural St. Hilaire.
More arrests are expected, but authorities say there is no threat to the public at this time.
