Matthew Slater gave the most Boston response to a question about Tom Brady’s longevity
Tom Brady will be turning 40 years old during Patriots training camp this season, so the media naturally had to ask his peers about how the quarterback’s age might impact his career.
Safety Devin McCourty seemed to have no worries about Brady playing through his mid-forties, telling reporters at Gillette Stadium: “I don’t see a reason why he would slow down.”

Wide receiver Matthew Slater was also asked for his thoughts on Brady extending his career. His answer will likely delight Patriots and Celtics fans alike, as he quoted retired NBA All-Star Kevin Garnett: “Anything is possible.”
