Harvey George Tack

Harvey George Tack, 84, of Bemidji, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center-Duluth. He was born December 13, 1934 in Tenstrike, MN to John Harvey and Blanche Viola (Bryant) Tack. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon his return he married Bonnie Lou Meyer on December 20, 1958. Harvey retired as the DW&P (CN) Railroad B&B foreman where he worked for 45 years. Harvey is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie; a brother Keith Tack; 3 children: Tony (Jennifer) Tack, Cole Tack, and Lisa (Ted) Wolfe; 6 grandchildren: Jennifer (Danny) Dawson, Amanda (Shawn) Mikesh, Trevor Tack, Jaryd Tack, Jessica Tack, and Trixie Wolfe; and 5 great grandchildren: Brianna (Brandon) Blocker, Dominique Dawson, Elijah Dawson, Easton Mikesh, and Corbin Mikesh. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Curt Tack. There will not be a formal funeral per Harvey's request. A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
