Grapevine WR David Clayton commits to Arkansas State 

David Clayton is going to the next level.

The two-star wide receiver out of Grapevine gave Arkansas State a verbal commitment on Tuesday night.

He announced his decision via Twitter.

Clayton committed to Arkansas State over an offer from Hawaii.

At 6-foot, 170 pounds, Clayton is ranked as the No. 337 wide receiver in the country and No. 390 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports Composite.

Clayton is the first Dallas-area prospect to commit to Arkansas State this recruiting cycle.
