Makeup is an art of multiple genres and plenty of pain. Just like other art forms. Makeup is always changing.
Some trends I wish would go away and gone. Other trends I stick by no matter how outdated they are because that’s how much I love them with my frozen heart and...whatever has replaced my soul.
Of course, everyone has a different aesthetic and is influenced by different ideas and they translate into how we wear our makeup. So when something new comes out in makeup it's fun to give it a try! (Except for me because I'm a Scorpio horoscope sign who refuses conformity, I don’t have a set aesthetic.)
I’m always trying to find a new signature look. Sometimes, that means metallic silver eyeshadow with plum lipstick and, other times, it means nude or no eyeshadow with a barely noticeable pink lipstick.
I’ll do a popping red lipstick if I’m feeling bold or mascara if I really want to feel done-up. Some women prefer to wear no make up at all. And, that's perfectly fine.
This past Christmas I went with a wonderful drunken Harley Quinn look, created using red lipstick and eye makeup as well as all-natural, organic tears that I shed when my brother surprised me with one of my favorite presents.
I decided to create a list of products that I loved. Each has its own aesthetic. More importantly, each is suitable for a different zodiac sign. However, it wouldn’t be a crime for anyone to mix and match the mentioned products to create a signature look. You might as well go all out.
For example, when you feel like a night out because you want to cry in the club, you could prep your skin with Virgo’s product and even your skin tone with Capricorn’s product. Then, you can proceed to completely change your face using Libra and Sagittarius’ products.
Add in the organic tears and you’re good to go. Of course, this entire process is started after using Pisces’ product. 4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus, you’re a grounded and down-to-earth individual. And your makeup choices should highlight your inner beauty as well as your outer beauty. Not change your image completely because makeup should never be about hiding yourself. A brown eyeliner is the perfect tool to use to subtly highlight the beauty of your face while complementing your personality.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries, you’re a furry and thick beast, but nonetheless beautiful for your strength. For individuals under this sign, I recommend Goof Proof Brow Pencil. This is a personal favorite. I’ve always suffered from acne and I only ever see slight changes when I eat healthier or when my stress/hormone levels are down. But, even though there are periods of improvement, it never completely disappears and I used to always need foundation before leaving the house.
Nowadays, I almost never use it as I’ve accepted my natural look. However, my beauty guru cousin recommended this product to me in case I want to cover up my face again, but I think this foundation would make a great product for all you Capricorns since you need a firm foundation from which to go forward with your plans.
8. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
