No anti-vaxxers here. The “Little Couple” family prepare their child for some painful but necessary shots in an all new episode of the TLC reality series.
In this exclusive clip (above), Jen and Bill try to calm down a distraught Zoey as she protests at having to get four vaccination shots in a row.
“Of course no child likes to get shots, but it’s one of those things that are very important for our overall health,” Jen said in her talking head interview. “We’ve seen a resurgence in infections that can be life-threatening in kids because of parents’ hesitation to vaccinate, so while I know it’s going to hurt and I know she’s going to be miserable, I know it’s important for her to get these shots.”
Since its premiere in 2009, “The Little Couple” has followed Bill and Jen Klein as they move through life with achondroplasia, a form of short-limbed dwarfism.
Over the course of the show’s seven seasons, the Kleins have documented their marriage, the adoption of their two children and Jen’s cancer diagnosis.
“The Little Couple” airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
