Trey Songz’ “Bottoms Up” Certified 4X Platinum, Several Other Singles Gold

When it comes to RIAA certifications, July 20 was a fruitful day for Trey Songz. The artist received a 4x platinum honor as well as four new gold certifications.

Confirming a US unit total of 4 million (one unit equals 1 paid download or 150 streams), the 4X platinum prize went to “Bottoms Up.”

The gold certifications went to “Love Faces,” “Neighbors Know My Name,” “Touchin, Lovin (featuring Nicki Minaj),” and “Trey Day.” Gold-certified singles have US unit totals of at least 500,000.

The five certifications were not the only honors awarded to Trey Songz in July. Earlier this month, he received a platinum album award for “Trigga.”
