No pain, no gain! Mark Wahlberg bulks back up with weighted belly band after dramatic 60lbs weight loss for new film
Mark Wahlberg, known for his bulging biceps and amazing abs, is getting back into fighting shape after an extreme slim down for his new film, The Gambler.
The A-list actor and producer was adjusting his weight belt underneath his shirt after leaving a lunch meeting at posh Beverly Hills restaurant Ebaldi on Saturday.
Mark was dressed very casually for the meeting in army green cargo shorts, heather gray tee shirt, and his customary Air Jordan sneakers. However, in true celebrity fashion, he wasn't without his luxurious wristwatch.

The weighted belt isn't just for working out, keeping it strapped on throughout the day helps build core and back strength while burning calories.
And It looks like it just may be working as Mark's muscles appeared taut underneath his snug tee shirt while a friend helped to adjust the belt around his midsection.
The former Calvin Klein model is most likely using the belt to put on some pounds after dropping down to a shocking 137 for his role as a gambling addict with many vices in The Gambler.
Mark told USA Weekend back in June that he lost 60lbs by 'jumping rope and being on a liquid diet.'

This isn't the first time the Oscar nominee has drastically altered his appearance for a role. He got up to 212 pounds and gained 40lbs of muscle for his role as a bumbling bodybuilder in 2013's Pain And Gain.
Mark is already earning Oscar buzz for his performance in The Gambler, so perhaps he's working out in preparation for lifting the famous statue.
He was previously nominated twice for Best Supporting Actor for The Departed (2007) and for producing The Fighter (2012), but this could be his year to earn Tinseltown's most coveted prize.

Hollywood has been known to hand out Oscars to those who are willing to drop the weight. Just last year Matthew McConaughey walked away with the gold after his incredible slim down for The Dallas Buyers Club.
The busy superstar clearly needs to keep in shape. He has several projects in various stages of production that include a reality show, a cable television series, and multiple films.
Mark also has his hands full with with his four children and his stunning wife, former model Rhea Durham, 36.
