MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Mountain View-based tech companies will be showcasing their latest projects and gadgets on July 16 at the Civic Center Plaza located at 500 Castro St.

The demo day set from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. was chosen to coincide with Mountain View Public Library events and encourage families with young children to visit the Kids Zone for hands-on STEM activities.

The fifth technology showcase, presented by the city and Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, is free to attend. Hands-on, live demonstrations from both technology giants and start-up hopefuls will be on hand. The event draws thousands of people and is geared toward crowd participation and public engagement. Plus, the children's activity, NASA and mobility zones are returning this year.
