A man has been stabbed to death in a north London street.

The 21-year-old was found with a stab wound in Strimon Close, near Lema Crescent in Edmonton, just before 18:30 GMT on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics but was pronounced dead soon after. His family have been informed but formal identification has not yet taken place.

Scotland Yard is treating the case as murder. No arrests have been made and door-to-door inquiries continue.
