Obituary: ​Michael Raymond Boulanger, 45

Mike worked as a chef at Jordan's in Southbury for many years, as well as the Painted Pony in Bethlehem and crabby Al's in Thomaston.

Michael Raymond Boulanger, 45, of Sanford Lane passed away unexpectedly February 1, 2018. Michael was born September 8, 1972 in Waterbury, son of the late Richard and Janet Boulanger. Mike worked as a chef at Jordan’s in Southbury for many years, as well as the Painted Pony in Bethlehem and crabby Al’s in Thomaston.

He was recently pre deceased by his brother Richard Boulanger. He leaves his wife of fifteen years, Dianna Di Zinno, his step daughter Amanda Famiglietti and his 2 grandchildren AJ and Dante Francisco, his in laws Sandy and Joe Vige, his sister Melissa Boulanger and Christos Gogas, his nieces Justine Boulanger, Hailey Boulanger, Olivya Gogas, his nephew Johnny Gogas, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michael loved cooking, music, movies and his cat Savannah. He enjoyed going to the casino and the movies with his wife Dianna. He went to New Hampshire for the past several years to visit one of his best friends John and Rena Hoyt.

Mike loved being with his family, playing with his grandchildren, and playing video games like guitar hero with his daughter Amanda.

Mike was a fun, happy go lucky man who worked very hard and spent his free time having fun with the people who loved him.

Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution should be made to the Woodbury Scholarship Fund, POB 716, Woodbury CT 06798; these monies to be used for a scholarship for a student perusing a culinary or animal related career.
