WHITEHALL — A Whitehall woman was taken to Albany Medical Center via helicopter Thursday night after the motorcycle she was on collided with a car on Route 4, police said.
Cathaleen Pomainville, 46, was hurt when the Harley-Davidson on which she was a passenger hit a car from behind when traffic stopped near Beckwith Road just after 5 p.m. Thursday, according to State Police. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, but her condition was not available Friday.
Police said she was on a bike driven by Steven R. Howard, 57, of Castleton, Vermont, which hit a Saab sedan that had stopped for a turning vehicle, police said. Howard was also injured and was taken to Glens Falls Hospital.
The driver of the Saab, Dale A. Solotruck, 59, of Hudson Falls, was not hurt.
Police said no tickets were issued but the investigation was continuing.
