MIAMI (April 19, 2019) – FOX Sports Florida, the exclusive television home of the Miami Marlins, will premiere an all-new episode of “Inside the Marlins” this Sunday, April 21, upon conclusion of Miami’s series finale against the Washington Nationals. Join host Jessica Blaylock as she brings viewers behind the scenes at a newly reimagined Marlins Park, which has undergone numerous changes for 2019.

“Inside the Marlins: Marlins Park” features interviews with Marlins CEO Derek Jeter, President of Business Operations Chip Bowers, Marlins Senior Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations Elisa Padilla, Manager Don Mattingly, pitcher Pablo López and Marlins fans, all of whom share their experience and perspective on what went into building, enjoying and playing in a better ballpark. Among the changes, weekends at Marlins Park this year will feature Party En El Parque - including Little Havana Nights presented by Estrella Jalisco on Fridays, Park Before Dark featuring an earlier starting time on Saturdays, and Sunday Funday which focuses on kids.

“Inside the Marlins” also takes a close look at the new premium experience, The Club: DEX Imaging, which offers fans a first-class area to relax and dine prior to, during and after a Marlins game. From The Club: DEX Imaging, fans can also enjoy up-close views of Marlins players taking batting practice. Major changes have been made to ballpark food this season, led by Levy’s Executive Chef at Marlins Park Michael Finizia. Fans inside The Club: DEX Imaging, as well as throughout the park, can enjoy a completely new array of offerings which capture Miami's true flavors. The Marlins have partnered with several local restaurants, including Miami's Best Pizza, PINCHO, Novecento and more to add a genuine local feel to the ballpark experience. Additionally, the new 3 o 5 Menu offers fans affordable ballpark favorites for just $3 or $5.

Also new to Marlins Park this season is Comunidad 305, a dedicated section for fans to celebrate culture with musical instruments and flags. The all-new episode takes a closer look at the new centerpiece of the park, the three-tiered AutoNation Alley in the outfield, where fans can take in the game with exciting new views, including an area specially designed to accommodate large groups. Finally, “Inside the Marlins” wraps up with a look at the variety of entertainment events the park hosts, highlighted by Stadiumlinks, which saw Marlins Park convert from a baseball diamond to a nine-hole golf course.

Tune in on FOX Sports Florida and FOX Sports GO as we debut “Inside the Marlins: Marlins Park,” and be sure to follow @FOXMarlins on Twitter and Instagram for exclusive Marlins content.
