GNDU alumnus’ unique learning tool

AMRITSAR: Navneet Kalia, an alumnus of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), has come up with a unique learning tool for children above the age of three in the form of ‘alphaTUB’.

Navneet Kalia, an alumnus of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), has come up with a unique learning tool for children above the age of three in the form of ‘alphaTUB’. Navneet Kalia is being supported by another GNDU alumni, Gurdarshan Singh, in this venture. Navneet is the global CEO of alphaTUB while Gurdarshan Singh is handling affairs in the USA as the Chief Operating Officer.

The alphaTUB is presently offering its services in the USA. The product provides 26 alphabets along with various sheets having words from over 400 languages. Interestingly, alphaTUB is an Indian startup which is providing services in the USA. They are also planning to launch it in India.

Navneet Kalia said, “It is an honor to be here. We shall be launching the product in India. We had also participated in global start-up summit that took place in Hyderabad in 2017.” Kalia hails from Jalandhar. He completed his MBA from Guru Nanak Dev University in 1993. Gurdarshan passed out in 1991.

Gurdarshan Singh said, “ More than 400 languages can be learned by these 26 alphabets. It is available in two variants such as plastic and wooden.”

“There is a mobile application to enhance the learning. As if now, we offer 10 sheets in the kit,” he added.

Navneet Kalia has also started i-smart education in Vietnam offering English learning on the pattern of CBSE curriculum for non-English speakers.
