Two Arrested in Child Porn Bust: PD

Two West Haven men were arrested after State Police allegedly found child pornography on seized items.

The State Police Computer Crimes Unit was investigating sharing of child pornography over the Internet and traced activity to an apartment at 6 Knox Street in West Haven and 197 Main Street in West Haven.

Police conducted a search warrant on June 18 at 6 Knox Street apartment B1 and seized several items with suspected child pornography files.

Jose Antonio, 20, turned himself in on Sept. 8 to Troop I in Bethany and was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. He was released on a $25,000 bond.

Items were seized from the 197 Main Street residence in February. An arrest warrant was served on Sept. 8 on Joseph Potter, 41, of Main Street. He was charged with the same as Antonio and held on a $75,000 bond.
