Arkansas Symphony Orchestra “Raiders of the Lost Ark” concert

Dr. Elizabeth Horton, Archaeologist with the Arkansas Archeological Survey was on Good Afternoon Arkansas on Thursday talking about the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra “Raiders of the Lost Ark” concert.

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will perform John Williams’ famous score from “Raiders of the Lost Ark” along with movie during two performances this weekend.

Shows are Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at Robinson Performance Hall.

Kids get in free on Sunday. Adult tickets start at just $15 dollars. This is the final show of the season for the Symphony and one of the most exciting.

The Arkansas Archaeological Survey and Arkansas Archaeological Society will be on hand at the event to answer questions about archaeology and dispel some myths.
