Novato Man, 3 Juveniles Arrested In North Bay Pursuit

NOVATO, CA — Four people were arrested, including a Novato man, earlier this week following a short vehicle pursuit with police in Rohnert Park.
Thor Thomas, 23, of Novato, was arrested on suspicion of felony evading, felony hit-and-run and three counts of child endangerment. Three other juveniles, two females and a male, were arrested on suspicion of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
On Tuesday at 1:20 p.m., the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety received a call about a person being thrown from a moving vehicle in the parking lot of a gas station at 6301 Commerce Blvd.

Responding officers were interviewing the subject thrown from the vehicle when they spotted the suspect vehicle stopped at a nearby intersection.
The officers ordered the vehicle to pull over, but the vehicle drove away.

Officers pursued the vehicle but ended the pursuit as it began driving into oncoming traffic, police said.
The vehicle was located a short time later in a parking lot, and three of the suspects were located in a store and taken into custody.
The fourth suspect was located at a nearby post office.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
