Home in Glyndon, MN sustains extensive damage from fire

Fire officials on the scene of a house fire in Glyndon, Minnesota say the fire is out, but they are still monitoring some hot spots.

They say the homeowner will be keeping an eye out for those hot spots, too, once firefighters leave the scene.

Firefighters started battling the house fire around 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening. They say it was a stubborn fire that multiple crews worked together to extinguish.

The homeowner says the fire began in the garage and spread quickly to the home.

The home is a total loss. The homeowner also lost their vehicle in the fire.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire Crews are currently on scene in the 900 block of 130th St. S in Glyndon, MN battling a garage fire.

Fire crews from Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department, Dilworth Fire Department, and Sabin - Elmwood Fire Department on scene, with 6 trucks. FM Ambulance is also on scene.
