If you like all-day celebrations, circle June 29 on your calendars.

That’s the day the Bricktown Canal is planning to offer an all-day celebration from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Everyone’s invited – families, couples and singles.

Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership and the Bricktown Association have planned numerous family-friendly activities and programs, along with Bricktown business promotions to encourage you all to explore and commemorate the canal and “Party like it’s 1999.”

All of the usual party events are scheduled – music by ACM@UCO students, face painting, real artists painting, pop-up bars, water tour rides, bike tours, free balloon animals, promotions and patio activities by Bricktown businesses and more, more, more.

The mile-long Bricktown Canal is a popular downtown destination for tourists and locals alike. For more information about the canal or celebration, visit www.DowntownOKC.com or www.WelcomeToBricktown.com.

This will be one big soiree.

Geared toward pre-school through middle school girls and boys, Geekapalooza provides hands-on experiences with Lego Robotics, science experiments and much more.

Online early registration ends Thursday at midnight – for a family up to four people it’s $12 and any additional guests are $6 per single. Day of registration is available at $15 per family and singles are $7.
