Cowiche Creek Spring Swell Floods Streets of Yakima

Cowiche Creek spilled over its banks and into the streets of Yakima, Washington, on March 16 after melted snow and rain swelled the creek’s water levels.

The flooding caused road closures and at least one neighborhood was evacuated, according to reports.
