Here are the top 10 resorts in New England, according to Conde Nast Traveler readers
You'll find the top spot in Maine.
A wooded getaway in the Pine Tree State was named the best resort in New England by Conde Nast Traveler readers.
The travel publication released the top 30 resorts in New England last week as part of its 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards, and Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport, Maine, snagged the No. 1 spot.
“This cozy Maine resort, surrounded by birch groves and balsam fir, gives us the sophisticated summer camp feels,” the publication wrote.
The 60-acre resort is dotted with hand-painted wooden signs that lead to amenities such as a garden where guests can pick vegetables and a bike shed where they can borrow a retro cruiser for trips to Goose Rocks Beach, according to CNT. The publication also made note of the hot coffee and canvas bag of freshly baked pastries left outside guests’ doors each morning.

No. 10: Cape Arundel Inn and Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine
No. 9: Cliff House Maine in Cape Neddick, Maine
No. 8: Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Harwich

The survey contained listings of hotels, resorts, islands, airports, airlines, cities, and cruise ships. More than 429,000 readers submitted ratings, according to the publication.
