I read in the newspaper that Democratic Cook County state’s attorney candidate Bill Conway’s wealthy father, William Conway, gave him another $2.35 million for his campaign against Kim Foxx. William Conway didn’t have to do that. All he had to do was remember the slogan “Remember the Alamo” and just tweak it a little bit and say, “Remember the Jussie Smollett case.”

In response to Red from Chicago, once in a while voters would like to see their elected officials appear on television. I would like to see what they are doing and what opinions they have on certain subjects. As for looking them up on Facebook, not all of us are computer literate Anyway, Facebook blogs written by politicians are all one sided, you know patting themselves on the back for a job well done.

Pope Francis behaved deplorably. A lady was overanxious and grabbed his hand. What did he do? He scowled at her and slapped her hand. This is a man of God? He was all great when he was admired and she was trying to admire him. Would Jesus have made an evil scowl and slapped a hand?

The Chicago Blackhawks are a dying franchise. The once-fan favorites both home and away are becoming the patsies of the National Hockey League. Opponents are double-teaming Patrick Kane, denying him the shots on goal. Hiring head coach Jeremy Colliton and the parting with former head coach Joel Quenneville was a huge mistake. General manager Stan Bowman better start looking for a star goalie, someone to compensate for a poor defense.

I truly find it disgraceful Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says she prayerfully solemn about impeachment. It’s pretty dishonest of her. It’s her Democrat Party that eliminates prayer in school and eliminating God out of everything. Bible says Nancy Pelosi you’ll reap what you sow.
