Two people have been indicted on charges connected to a one-vehicle crash in April on Interstate 75 that killed a Colerain Township man.

According to a grand jury indictment issued Friday, 24-year-old Shelby Rae Holloman of West Chester was the driver of a car that police said drove off the side of the highway, then went down a steep embankment onto East Kemper Road. The car ended up on its side.

Holloman is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, obstructing justice and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. She faces up to 10 years in prison on the vehicular homicide charge.

Jesse Fatora, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened in the early morning hours of April 20.

Jeffery J. Walters, of West Chester, is charged with two counts of obstructing justice, a felony. According to court documents, he gave a written statement about the crash and signed his brother’s name. Police dash-cam video and news footage shows Walters at the scene, the documents say.

Sharonville police initially were told that Fatora was the car’s driver.
