An informational session on Live Green in Plano’s Sustainable Community Grants will help residents learn how to apply for funding for projects benefiting the community, the city said in an announcement.
Grants will range from $500 to $2,000.
The online webinar about the program is set for Tuesday, Oct. 4, from noon to 1 p.m.
Registration may be completed online.
Topics at the seminar will include available funding, how to apply, how applications will be judged, grant requirements and examples of past winners.
According to its webpage, Live Green in Plano is seeking projects that:
- Improve the health of the environment
- Increase equity
- Enhance quality of life
- Increase cultural vibrancy
- Expand ecological resilience
- Conserve natural resources
- Beautify the community
- Educate about protecting the natural environment
- Increase workforce participation
- Make Plano better for future generations
