In the snap, Nigella posted - a row of three pieces of meat laid across a tray can be seen, but fans thought it looked like women with their legs pulled together and a large bust on display.

Fans were left giggling at the cheeky food snap and immediately turned to the comments section to share their views on the rare looking dish, with one fan saying: “ At first glance, I thought this was a woman lying on her back with her knees up.”

Another wrote: “Looks like me on a sun lounger.”

A fourth commented: “Is it just me that thinks that chicken looks a bit saucy?”

One fan said: “Very sexy and I bet incredibly tasty.”

Nigella captioned the ‘saucy’ food dish: “#RecipeOfTheDay is a bit of a blast from the past. Hoisin Quail!”

Nigella said: "I love these sweet and meaty quail, conker-shiny in their vaguely Chinesey marinade.

"The thing is to marinate them for a good long time, at least 24 hours, so that they keep fleshy and juicy and meltingly tender no matter how brutally you cook them."

This is not the first time the iconic British chef has shocked fans with her bizarre and unusual antics.

Nigella Lawson cannot say the word microwave, and now she’s spoken out to confirm why she pronounces it so strangely.

Back in 2020, a clip of Nigella pronouncing the word 'microwave' as ' meecrowavvey' went viral and fans were left gobsmacked.

In her show Cook, Eat, Repeat, she picks up some milk to use in a recipe, which she says she’s “warmed in the meecrowavvey”. Microwavé, when people first heard Nigella’s,  unique pronunciation of the word, everyone went nuts.

The video quickly caused an uproar on Twitter and left fans wondering if that is really the way Nigella says 'microwave'.

She's also been mocked for cooking bizarre dishes such as 'banana skin curry' and plain, 'toast'.

Despite some controversial moments, Nigella is still loved by fans for her extraordinary recipe's.
