Antonia Francisco Marquez, an active duty soldier from Troutdale originally arrested in May, faces 107 counts from a sex crimes probe.

PORTLAND, OR – An active duty solider with the U.S. Army who was arrested in May on six counts of sex abuse, has been indicted for a second time. Antonio Francisco Marquez from Troutdale now faces 107 counts stemming from the sex crime probe.

Multnomah County District Attorney Rod Underhill says that the new indictment is the result of grand jury testimony of five new witnesses whose stories had not been heard by the previous grand jury.

Marquez, who was arraigned on Dec, 31, is being held on $15,970,000 bail.

According to Underhill, the indictment covers activity from Oct. 13, 2015 through May 11, 2018.

The indictment states that he used all three in various displays of sexual conduct for the purpose of creating visual recordings of child pornography.

Marquez, who is on active duty, was assigned to a recruiting station in Gresham by the Army once they learned of the probe. They also suspended him.

He was also a parent volunteer at Troutdale Elementary School.

Officials have not said if any of the children that Marquez is accused of abusing were students at the school.

The district attorney's office is concerned that there may be more victims out there and if anyone has any information, they are asked to call the sheriff's office at 503-988-0560.

Marquez is due back in court on Feb. 11, 2019.
