UPDATE: One southbound lane of Route 119 open after mudslide

UPDATE 12/26/18 @ 4:20 a.m.

One lane of Route 119 in South Charleston has reopened, according to dispatchers.

There is no word on when the other lane could reopen.

The closures come after a mudslide on Route 119 at WV-214.

ORIGINAL STORY 12/24/18 @ 7:39 p.m.

South Charleston police and fire departments are on scene of a mudslide on Route 119 and Wolf Pen Drive.

All south bound lanes of traffic are closed.

Kanawha County Dispatch tells WSAZ there are heavy traffic delays.

It's unclear when the scene will be cleared.
