EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The city of East Providence held its annual tree lighting celebration on Saturday.
Mayor Bob DaSilva and Santa Claus helped count down to the lighting.
This event took place a City Hall and the lighting was held in memory of East Providence residents who were lost due to COVID-19.
There was local food vendors, music and performances at the event.
